Bio
Tales of Captain Julien: The Selene's Secret...

A troubled 18th Century Sea Captain must travel time to battle his deadly nemesis in hopes of saving his lost love...

Welcome to the Capain's log. As you see, the log is friends locked, opened by invitation only. I welcome the curious to a limited degree... If I know you, and you would like a peek, ask, and I may let you in. No guarantees: I want to protect the intellectual property involved here, etc.

So, what is this Captain's log, actually? It is the chapter by chapter breakdown of a novel I am currently at work upon. I created it for friends I know who want to watch and encourage the process of how it comes together. There is constant expansion, editing and refinement taking place, so each log entry is a moving target. When I started, I edited very often, and nearly got stuck there. So now, I'm forging ahead to the end, changing only minimal things until the work has a completed first draft. Friends who wish to are free to leave feedback, ask questions, and let me know how they respond to the entries as they read them. A few of them continue to re-read the entries, in order to follow the changes I made. They graciously keep me posted as to how it's coming along, and it is, in fact, getting better, and closer to finished.

Friends! Thank you so much!

Still curious? If you know me and would like to be here and join the adventure, add the Captain's log to your f-list, and if I know you or invited you, the Captain will friend you back. Initially, the first five chapters will be opened. After that, if you wish to continue, let me know and I'll unlock the rest.

Notes regarding the filters: Later chapters are filtered to the friends I know are reading. This is currently about ten people, I think. Who are they? Some you will see by their numerous comments. My main stay is my editor in chief/ first mate, [info]bonnie_halfelvn . She's offering great assistance in the editing department, and has been most helpful with the process of asking questions, logistical and otherwise, and giving me a sounding board to bounce ideas off.

It has become quite the journey. I'm loving the process, and fully intend to create a manuscript worthy of publication.
Thanks for your interest!
